WHAT IS MOLD?

Over 300 miniature conversions, kitbashes and sculpture by Nick Borelli, aka. MoldMoldMold. Mutations wrought into being from a pool of plastics, shell, glues, wire, putty, string, and metal by Nick Borelli, aka. MoldMoldMold.

For followers of Peow2, this book (on paper) might seem out of the ordinary, but we always strive to publish the books that we want to read and share the type of artwork that we think is cooler than anything else. For anyone who likes monsters, creature design, grimdark miniature wargames, or just looking to feel inspired to make cool stuff irl, this book is it.

THIS IS COOL BUT I NEVER SAW THIS BEFORE!

Tabletop miniature games are often played with plastic or metal miniatures that must be assembled and painted by hand. This aspect is one of the main pillars of the hobby. Hobbyists can express themselves through unique color schemes and impressive painting techniques, and many enjoy personalizing their models even further with conversions.

Conversion is the process of modifying a miniature to look different from its original design. This can range from adjusting the original pose, to adding more detail with hobby putty, or adding “bits” from other model kits.

Within this book, the conversion are so heavy, warped beyond all recognition from the original intended design. They become brand new creations on their own. Chaos filtered through chaos.
